We have 3 cottages on site. All are two bedrooms cottages with a sleeper futon in the living room. Cottages are open concept living room and kitchen with bedrooms in the back. All cottages are very clean and well-kept. They are winterized and are available for rent year-round. Call: 705-361-9979 for more information The kitchens are fully equipped with newer appliances, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishes and all pots, pans and dishes you need. The water is good drinking water right from the tap. There is not air conditioning, but the cottages are equipped with ceiling fans. Being near the beach does make a difference in the breeze. It does cool down in the evenings and is comfortable for sleeping.
Both bedrooms are equipped with double size beds and are lined with linens and blankets that you need. The third sleeping bed is in the living room. It is a fold-down futon. You will need to bring your own extra linens for this double size matress. The living room is equipped with television, satellite and DVD player. There is a gas BBQ for each cottage and also a firepit in the back yard for bonfires. We do get a fire permit and will advise you on whether or not a fire is permitted. This is regulated by the town bylaws and fire department. (Sometimes, dry conditions cause a fire ban).
The property is located on Balm Beach Road and is a 5 minute walk to the beach. It is literally a 1 minute car ride and there is public parking at Balm Beach (the lot is often full), but the distance is very easy to walk. This beach has public facilities, restaurants, shops, a variety store and arcade and ice cream shop. It is perfect for your family vacation or a couples get-away. The general area has many sites to see and activities to do including: museums, fishing charters, boat cruises, go carts, arcades, a ranch, zoo, shopping , drive in movies, ski hill, walking trails , restaurants and more. This is absolutely a 4 season destination that you will enjoy. Rates are determined by week. Summer weeks, weeks that are part of a holiday long weekend, and holidays are a higher rate. Other weeks throughout the year are a discounted rate, as they are not as popular as the summer. Please see the availability calendar to determine the price for the week you are interested in.
